The Grove Church is committed to the historic Christian faith revealed in the Bible and confessed by the church throughout the centuries. Our teaching is rooted in the authority of Scripture and centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is the final and sufficient authority for what we believe and how we live.

We believe that all people are sinners in need of salvation and that reconciliation with God comes only through the person and work of Jesus Christ. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, apart from human works.

The ultimate purpose of all things is the glory of God. As one historic catechism summarizes Scripture: “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever.”

We affirm the sovereignty of God over all things while also affirming the responsibility of all people everywhere to repent of sin and believe the gospel.

Theologically, The Grove Church is in substantial agreement with Reformed Baptist doctrine as summarized in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith.
